Bruns Umwelt- und Entsorgungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, based in Geeste in the Emsland region, has been manufacturing metal products since 1949, originally agricultural machinery, later focusing on containers and waste compactors. The product range includes roll-off containers according to DIN 30722, the CHEM standard and SS 3021, skip containers according to DIN 30720 as well as for the Ruthmann, Fasieco and Müller-Mitteltal systems, discharge and dosing systems with distribution and discharge augers as well as push floors, press technology with mobile press containers, stationary compactors and lift-tipping devices. In vehicle manufacturing, waste collection vehicles, rear loaders, side loaders and trailers are produced. In addition, the company manufactures custom solutions such as asphalt thermo containers, insulated box bodies, drainage and drying containers, tank construction as well as containers for fire brigades, police, THW (Technical Relief Agency) and emergency services. Production is carried out in steel, high-abrasion-resistant steel and Hardox, stainless steel (INOX), aluminium and plastics, including KTL (cataphoretic) coating. The company has been ISO 9001 certified for decades and is currently modernizing its design and manufacturing with parametric 3D CAD models, common-part management and robotics (funded by EFRE).
