About BSZ netz
BSZ netz GmbH develops and sells backup power systems (NEA) based on methanol fuel cell technology. The BSZ GRID Connect series includes systems such as the BSZ GRID Connect 5k and the BSZ GRID Public 10k, which provide emergency power supply as stationary or mobile solutions. The systems operate quietly and with low emissions, convert about one litre of methanol into almost one kilowatt hour of power, and can be connected in parallel to achieve higher power classes. Industry-specific variants serve, among others, telecommunications, fire departments, police, emergency medical services, transport, construction sites, events, schools and humanitarian aid organisations. In addition, the company offers a full-service model covering installation, maintenance, refuelling, commissioning as well as remote monitoring and control via integrated router modules. One documented project is the mobile network and power supply in the district of Möhlau, implemented with Sparkasse Leipzig and Deutsche Leasing.
