About the BTB Group
BTB Recycling-Hof GmbH is part of the BTB Group, a family-run construction company founded in 1990 in East Berlin and comprising six companies. The company carries out earthworks, mechanical complete demolition, special demolition using the low-vibration AutoStem method, and underwater excavation on complex inner-city major projects such as Mall of Berlin, S-Bahn Line 21, the A100 eastern extension and the CleanTech Business Park. Its own truck fleet, hundreds of containers and in-house workshops for machine maintenance complete the value chain. The central operating site is a 25-hectare recycling yard with a rail siding and construction waste sorting plant, where contaminated construction waste is also treated and recycled construction materials such as track ballast are produced in accordance with railway construction directives. Clients include Züblin Spezialtiefbau, Köster, Wayss & Freytag and DIBAG Industriebau; since 2009 BTB has been a dual training company for construction equipment operators and truck drivers.
