About Buck Group
Buck Group AG develops and produces laundry, household and cleaning detergents (WPR) as well as air fresheners. Founded in 1966 by Karl Buck, who originally started with the toilet cleaning block he invented, the company today employs more than 200 people at its sites in Herrenberg and Lemgo (Germany), Zug (Switzerland) and Istanbul (Turkey). The subsidiary Messing & Keppler Abfüllbetrieb GmbH in Lemgo offers contract manufacturing of liquid, powder and solid WPR products for private end consumers and commercial users with around 185 employees. The powder production is specialized in mixing and filling non-liquid WPR products and industrial mixtures, while liquid production handles thin-fluid to viscous substances in volumes from 100 to 10,000 liters. Solid production manufactures solid products through extrusion processes and compaction (pressing). The Research & Development division in Herrenberg has so far generated more than 50 patent families.
