Buddenberg Kunststoffe Fliegel GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bad Driburg, develops, designs and produces custom molded parts made of Styropor® (expandable polystyrene, EPS). The product portfolio includes precision-fit insulation, packaging systems, full packaging, packaging for technical devices, and technical molded parts; standard products are also offered for typical applications. Production takes place in a density range of 20 to approx. 50 kg/m³ on an in-house machine park for molded part production; continuous inspections ensure compliance with the company's own quality standards throughout the entire manufacturing process. The development service processes CAD data into virtual models, creates hand samples on request, and then produces the final molds – even in small lot sizes. Thanks to fast mold changes, an in-house logistics department with its own vehicle fleet and just-in-time delivery, customers receive their product as needed at the point of use, which reduces inventory costs. Customers come primarily from the packaging industry as well as from insulation and technical molded part applications.
