Bühler Oberflächentechnik was founded in 1990 by Harald Bühler as a sandblasting operation with two employees in Spaichingen and has since developed into a system provider in surface technology. The company, with over 30 employees, coats large and series-production parts: in addition to sandblasting work with various blasting media and system concepts (open blasting, trough belt and through-feed blasting), the business offers painting in corrosivity categories up to CX, powder coating, flame-spray galvanizing without distortion, fire protection coatings F30–F120 on wood, concrete and steel, as well as polyurea and PE/PP flame-spray coatings. Large parts up to 20 meters in length and 40 tonnes unit weight can be processed; for powder coating, one of the largest coating systems in southern Germany is available (up to 14 x 3.2 x 3.5 m, 20 t). Services include pickup and delivery service with its own fleet as well as disassembly and assembly up to commissioning. Customers come from automotive engineering, conveying technology, crane construction, shipbuilding, construction machinery and the military sector (including the German Armed Forces and the Swiss military).

Stainless steel
Stainless steel blasting as its own blasting process as well as stainless steel as a blasting medium.
Polyurea
Hot spray process for wear-, impact-, noise- and chemical-resistant coatings, e.g. silo, tank and skip coatings.
Polyethylene / polypropylene
Flame-spray coatings with resistance to chemicals, alkalis, acids and salts; approved for drinking water and food.
Zinc (flame-spray galvanizing)
Corrosion protection up to 25 x 5 x 5 m without distortion thanks to lower processing temperatures than hot-dip galvanizing.
Fire protection coating
