About us
Bürsten- und Pinseltechnik GmbH from Hildesheim is a master brushmaker business that has been manufacturing special brushes to individual customer requirements for over 40 years. The product range includes machine, circular and high-performance brushes, brush and spiral rollers, strip, sealing and batten brushes, livestock brushes, sweeping rollers, bottle, cylinder and laboratory brushes as well as brush-head brushes. Production uses various techniques depending on requirements: hand-drawing, tufting, turning, pressing, trimming and potting. In addition to new manufacture, the company cost-effectively re-bristles used brush bodies and restores historic brushes, including re-filling of barbering sets. Fill materials used include steel wire, V2A, brass, phosphor bronze, nylon, PBT, abrasive nylon and natural fibres such as horsehair, China bristles, arenga, bahia and piassava; brush bodies made of wood, plastic and metal are produced with partner companies. Customers come from the automotive industry, food production and processing, the ceramics industry, agricultural engineering, laboratory and medical technology, and the cosmetics and pyrotechnics sectors.

Quality
Hygiene brushes meet the requirements of HACCP and IFS; in the food sector detectable fill materials are used and new developments from filament manufacturers are tested. Antistatic brushes dissipate electrical voltages via the fibre and are used, among other things, in the pyrotechnics industry.
