About FALLER
Bürstenfabrik Faller GmbH in Todtnau manufactures natural wood brushes for hair, scalp and body care. Founded in 1827, the family business in its fifth generation combines traditional brush craftsmanship such as the drawn-bristle (Stirneinzug) technique with computer-aided precision manufacturing and robot cells. It processes FSC-certified woods such as fir, beech, oak and fruit woods, as well as wild boar bristles, vegan plant fibres (agave, wood filament), nylon and plastic bristles, wood and metal pins and elastic rubber cushions. With an output of up to 20,000 brushes per day, the company serves customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland through its own online shop, with around 40 employees and apprentices. Its energy comes almost exclusively from solar, hydropower and wood waste. Production, administration and the online shop are all located at one site in Todtnau in the Wiesental valley.
