About us
The Wesel district group of the Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation Germany (BUND) is a volunteer-run environmental association on the Lower Rhine and part of the BUND state association of North Rhine-Westphalia e.V. The group campaigns for an intact environment, healthy food, the protection of nature, species and habitats, and the economical use of energy and raw materials. Its work includes nature conservation projects, expert statements on planning procedures, participation in committees, citizen information and advice, for example on wolves, stone martens or wild bees, hornets and wasps. The district group is based at a nature conservation centre in Wesel and maintains a local group in Moers/Neukirchen-Vluyn. The association is not a manufacturing or supplier business; there is no suitable range of services for industrial procurement.
