About Bunge in Germany

Bunge is a global agribusiness and food company with over 200 years of history, whose legal seat is Bunge Global SA in Switzerland (commercial register CHE-318.451.510). In Germany, the company is represented by plants in Neuss, Mannheim and Hilter as well as a trading office in Hamburg. In Neuss, functional oils and fats are produced; a refinery with two production lines enables refining and modification processes of vegetable crude oils. The Hilter site, with over 120 years of margarine tradition, is one of Europe's largest margarine production sites with 23 filling lines and more than 200 products. Soybeans, rapeseed, sunflowers as well as tropical oils such as shea, palm and coconut are processed; the products are sold to the food, feed, confectionery and dairy industries, the bakery and confectionery trades as well as gastronomy and large-scale catering.
