About bunterturm
bunterturm produces CNC-turned miniature models of German TV towers from aluminium round bars, which are sold blank or powder-coated in around 200 RAL Classic colours and special colours as key rings, souvenirs and corporate giveaways. The turned parts are made on CNC machines from the EN AW-6061 alloy, which is characterised by good machinability and a high surface quality. In Leichlingen, the parts undergo pretreatment by degreasing, drying in an oven, and electrostatic powder coating with curing at around 200 degrees Celsius, followed by the assembly of the sticker, pendant and copper tube stand in industrial design. The towers are sold via tourist information offices in cities such as Düsseldorf and Dortmund; with 50 cents per tower sold, the company supports local children's and youth clubs. Customers include, alongside the tourism industry, companies looking for personalised giveaways featuring their own logo on the sticker on the underside.
