About Burger Pumpen
Burger Pumpen GmbH is a company founded in 1930 by Ewald Burger and based in Spiesen-Elversberg in the Saarland. Its 30-member team plans, manufactures, installs, maintains and repairs pump systems and related technology for municipalities, municipal utilities, wastewater and sewage treatment plants, drinking water supply and industry. The value chain includes mechanical machining such as turning, milling, drilling and honing, welding and plant construction, pipeline construction, electrical engineering manufacturing as well as energy-efficiency coatings. In its own workshop, among other things, a vertical pump series with Atex approval is manufactured; in addition, no-longer-available spare parts are reproduced. With the cloud-based Burger Web-Control, the company has been offering digital remote monitoring and plant management for wastewater pump stations since 2006. The customer radius is deliberately limited to around 50 kilometers in order to guarantee fast on-site service with a mobile first-aid workshop and its own crawler crane; around 5,000 commercial and municipal businesses in the region are served.
