About Burmester
Burmester Audiosysteme GmbH is an owner-managed manufacturer of high-end audio components founded by Dieter Burmester in 1977, based in Berlin-Schöneberg. The product range includes preamplifiers, power and integrated amplifiers, power conditioners, CD players, turntables, network products as well as loudspeakers and complete systems, organized into the Signature, Reference, Top and Classic lines. All devices are developed and handcrafted in the company's own Berlin manufactory; the majority of components are sourced from Germany. Before delivery, the products undergo quality controls, measurements, burn-in phases and listening tests. In addition to its home audio business, the company develops automotive sound systems with partners Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Bugatti and Ferrari. Distribution is handled via dealers in around 50 countries on five continents.
