About us
BURTSCHER KG, based in Röthis (Vorarlberg, Austria), manufactures chemical-technical products, including special cleaning and hygiene products for industry, trade, cable cars and mountain railways as well as gastronomy and hospitality. The product range includes acidic and alkaline cleaners (e.g. the phosphoric acid-based flight rust remover MS 20, the limescale remover PHOSKA, the grill and oven cleaner SILKA), all-purpose cleaners, deodorising and germ-killing agents for toilet systems in aircraft, omnibuses, caravans, ships and mobile facilities, oil and chemical binders as well as radiator and windscreen antifreeze. The company philosophy is to focus on highly concentrated products, which are intended to be more economical than diluted standard cleaners due to lower dosing, lower storage and transport costs and reduced environmental impact. To support users, the company offers expert advice through field service and sales as well as a laboratory at the Hohenems site for application-related questions. Customers include commercial users; for example, the toilet deodorising agent Biodor is formulated according to the provisions of CSD No. 3 of McDonnell-Douglas.

Phosphoric acid-based flight rust remover
Acidic, foaming product for derusting, degreasing and decalcifying metal surfaces made of metal, aluminium and light metal; corrosion inhibitors delay renewed rust formation.
Acidic limescale remover (pH 1)
Non-foaming cleaner for water- and acid-resistant surfaces against limescale, milk stone, beer stone and rust, gentle on metals and surfaces.
Alkaline grill, oven and deep fryer cleaner (pH 14)
For alkali-resistant surfaces in commercial kitchens; removes heavy encrustations and odours.
Cleaner and degreaser for glass and plastic
Removes dust, exhaust gas residues, silicone deposits and nicotine from glass and plastic surfaces without streaks.
Deodorising and germ-killing agent
Eliminates odours and kills germs in aircraft, bus and mobile toilet systems in accordance with the provisions of CSD No. 3 (McDonnell-Douglas).
Oil and chemical binder
Universal binder for oils, fats, emulsions, paints and acids, also buoyant for damage control on water surfaces.
Radiator coolant
Frost and rust protection with corrosion protection additives for aluminium and light metal engines; tested to ÖNORM.
Windscreen antifreeze concentrate
Concentrate with freeze protection down to −60 °C for windscreen washer systems, removes insects, oil and silicone residues without streaks.
Alcohol-based disinfectant
For undiluted use on equipment and work surfaces in the food sector; kills germs within 1–2 minutes.
