About bw electronics
bw electronics GmbH develops and manufactures electric vehicles and equipment for water sports, including the EASYFOIL E-Foil series, the inflatable E-Foils, the EASYDRIVE retrofit drives for foils and underwater LED lights (Illumination) for boats. An electric outboard motor up to 40 kW has been announced. The starting point in 2017 was a self-defined project: to build an E-Foil for under €15,000. From this idea the GmbH was founded in 2020, headquartered in Münsingen. According to the company, the underwater lamps have been manufactured for more than ten years, previously under a different name. Product maintenance, software/CAD, hardware development, production, support and sales are all handled in-house by the company's own team; products are marketed as made in Germany. A showroom is available at the headquarters in Münsingen by appointment.
