The Company
bwe Energiesysteme is a medium-sized company from the Oldenburg Münsterland region based in Friesoythe (Lower Saxony). Founded in 2000 as a specialist in biogas plants, the company plans and builds renewable energy generation facilities with around 100 employees, including 75–150 kW farm power plants, large-scale plants and waste plants for the fermentation of organic residual materials. As a general contractor, bwe offers turnkey projects from design and approval planning through welding work in stainless steel and black steel, control cabinet construction and pre-assembly of technology containers to on-site installation, commissioning and service. In addition to plant construction, the range of services includes CHP service (manufacturer-independent), biomethane upgrading, local and district heating, transfer stations, heating system construction, heat pumps, photovoltaics, automation and a 24-hour emergency service. Customers come from agriculture, agribusiness and the food industry, slaughterhouses, waste management, industry and municipalities; reference projects have also been implemented in the United Kingdom.
