BWF Profiles, a division of BWF Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG based in Offingen, has been developing and producing plastic products since 1956: technical profiles, tubes, sheets and optical light-diffusion films made of thermoplastics. The company is one of the leading suppliers for the extrusion of high-quality thermoplastics in Europe and Asia. The portfolio is complemented by thermoformed and injection-molded components from the sister division BWF Thermoforms, also located in Offingen. The range of services extends from consulting and development through prototyping to series production. Customer industries include, among others, Lighting, Industrial Specials, Health & Medical and Mobility. For luminaire optics, BWF Profiles relies, among other things, on PLEXIGLAS proTerra M5 (PMMA). The BWF Group employs more than 1,750 people worldwide and is certified with EMAS validation.
