The Bücker Group
BWH-Bücker Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG is a system supplier founded in Emsdetten in 1976 for molded parts and claddings made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP). The group comprises BWH-Bücker Kunststoffe in Emsdetten, BKT Bücker Kunststofftechnik in Heek (emerging from the Silkok-Peltzer group) and RC-Umwelttechnik GmbH with a production facility in Weißensee. The company manufactures customer-drawing components using hand lay-up, spray-up, hot and wet pressing, PU foaming, vacuum infusion and RTM, complemented by 5-axis CNC machining, model and mould making, engineering (CAD/CAM), reverse engineering and molded-part measurement. Materials processed include UP resins, vinyl ester and epoxy resins with glass, carbon, aramid and natural fibres as well as core materials such as PU and PVC foam, plywood and honeycomb material. Customer industries include wind energy (nacelle and spinner covers), vehicle construction (horse trailers, motorhomes, agricultural machinery, sports car bodies), environmental technology (GRP covers for wastewater treatment plants and hydraulic structures) and special constructions. With approximately 300 employees and around 21,000 m² of production space across three sites, the group supplies series customers including Böckmann and Wiesmann.
