About BWO Electronic
BWO Electronic GmbH develops and manufactures CNC control systems for machine tools, industrial robots and production lines. The modular VEKTOR control concept comprises compact and high-performance controls, mobile systems and PC-/app-based solutions and can be customised for special-purpose machines, up to 128 axes and 32 channels. The portfolio covers machining technologies such as grinding, 3-axis/5-axis milling, gear cutting, waterjet cutting, EDM and laser cutting; the controls are used in machining centres, transfer lines and rotary transfer machines. Development, manufacturing, assembly, programming and testing of all components have been carried out inhouse in Oberndorf am Neckar since the company was founded; in addition, BWO offers service, support and long-term spare parts supply. The company emerged in 1991 from the controls division of Heckler & Koch machine building and has been part of the family-owned Moroff Holding GmbH, headquartered in Hermaringen, since 2024. Customers come primarily from medium-sized machine and plant engineering, the automotive industry and factory automation.
