About byte robotics
byte robotics is a deep-tech and robotics software company from Magdeburg. The company develops vendor-independent software for the automatic, collision-free and cycle-time-optimized programming of complex industrial robot systems. The technology generates and evaluates alternative robot motions based on geometry, robot kinematics and process requirements and is available as an integration for Visual Components, KUKA.Sim and iiQWorks.Sim as well as a software component (headless). In addition, byte robotics offers engineering services: cycle-time optimization for robot systems, virtual commissioning, robotics software development, robot programming and feasibility analyses. Target groups are in-house automation teams, machine builders and robot system integrators, especially in automotive, automation technology and mechanical engineering. The team emerged from the VIP+ AuRora research project at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg; byte robotics GmbH was founded in 2024.
