About C-CON

The C-CON group of companies, headquartered in Langenhagen, realises components and assemblies made from sheet metal, plastic, aluminium and fibre composite materials – regardless of dimension and complexity. Development proceeds from the first concept through to production maturity, taking into account functional, manufacturing, ergonomic and installation-space aspects; tooling and equipment costs are already considered and optimised in the early development phase. Engineering services, tool design, simulation, manufacturing and personnel services are offered as individual services or as a complete package, with an industry focus on the automotive industry, aerospace, and mechanical and plant engineering. The Munich site operates in the field of control and regulation technology. C-Con GmbH & Co. KG in Sindelfingen, in association with Zweigart & Sawitzki, develops and manufactures sustainable, corrosion-free basalt fibre composite products for the construction industry: rebars (Rockbar), basalt microfibres (Rockfiber), chopped fibre reinforcement, high-temperature insulation mats, load-bearing anchors, basalt fabrics and scrim, as well as reinforced textile concrete components together with hydrophobising protective systems. In-house laboratories for chemical and mechanical testing complement the range of services.

Materials & Processes

BAS

Basalt fibre composite material

Corrosion-free, steel-free material for reinforcements, fastening systems and fabrics in the construction industry.

Rockbar

Basalt rebars (Rockbar)

Basalt fibre reinforcing bars as an alternative to steel reinforcement with high tensile strength and low thermal conductivity.

Rockfiber

Basalt microfibres (Rockfiber)

For preventing crack formation in cementitious structures.

Rockstix

Rockstix

Basalt fibre chopped strand reinforcement, produced on in-house cutting and coating equipment.

BAS-W

Basalt fabrics and basalt scrim

Textile semi-finished products for fibre composite applications and textile concrete.

BAS-M

Basalt fibre mats

For efficient high-temperature insulation.

TB

Textile concrete (concrete with basalt reinforcement)

Reinforced concrete components with lower concrete demand, free of thermal bridges and suitable for high-voltage environments.

Stahl

Sheet metal (steel)

Material for components and assemblies from development through to production maturity.

Al

Aluminium

Lightweight material for components and assemblies, among other things in the automotive and aviation environment.

KU

Plastic

Material for components and assemblies including series parts.

CFK

Carbon fibre

Fibre composite material for lightweight construction and series applications.
