About Cabeltec
Cabeltec SA was founded in 1977 by a group of engineers from the cable industry and is an independent, Switzerland-based system integrator and engineering service provider for the cable and metallurgical industry. The company plans and supervises complete production plants across the entire cable manufacturing process: continuous casting lines for HCOF copper, drawing and rolling machines, annealing processes, insulation and sheathing extrusion lines for special cables, fiber optic as well as low, medium and high voltage cables, taping, armoring, braiding and shielding solutions, and winding and coiling machines. The service portfolio includes technical consulting, end-to-end project management from tendering through FAT and transport coordination to commissioning (SAT), training of customer teams, after-sales service and retrofit projects for modernizing controls, PLCs, drives and safety systems. The team is proficient in French, German, English, Italian, Arabic and Portuguese. Headquarters are located near Lausanne; customers are located in Europe, North Africa and on three continents.
