Cable-Tec AG is a production and trading company in passive network technology based in Neuenhof AG. The team of 20 employees assembles copper data cables (Cat. 5e to Cat. 7A, including fire protection classes Dca/Cca) as well as fiber optic patch cables in singlemode OS2 and multimode OM3/OM4, plus FTTH cables, cable splitters, pigtails and RJ45 connector modules. In addition, 19" panels, network and server cabinets, connection sockets, splice boxes, residential building and multimedia components as well as cleaning materials for fiber optic connectors are offered. Alongside assembly, the company provides services such as fusion splicing including OTDR and power measurement, fiber optic cable installation for FTTB/FTTH, installation at distribution points according to network planning, and commissioning with measurement protocols. Custom and one-off productions, new developments in passive network technology and a large inventory round out the offering. Customers include electrical installers, telecom providers, banks, the federal government and cantons, hospitals and wholesalers; the VBS patch cables are produced in Neuenhof according to the technical requirements of the VBS catalog and delivered throughout Switzerland.

Quality and Measurement
Commissioning and quality assurance include checking network signal strength, OTDR measurements (for FTTH with two wavelengths) and power measurements of all fibers with documentation. Copper cable components are tested, among other things, according to ISO/IEC 11801; standardized and optimized processes as well as high-quality materials are part of the company's understanding of quality.
