Cadera GmbH & Co. KG is a long-standing bakery and confectionery based in Wolfsburg. The company was founded in 1853 in Cologne and has thus existed for over 170 years; it has been based in Wolfsburg since 1943. Bread, rolls and pastries made from yeast dough and cream are produced daily in the company's own bakery, including classic confectionery art. Sales take place via more than 25 own branches in the Wolfsburg region and beyond (including Helmstedt, Gifhorn, the Königsbrunn-Hellersleben area, Cremlingen, Weyhausen), the day-before shop "Yesterday" and the Heimbs café in Braunschweig; at the main store, the company operates the Café Cadera. Production runs at night, and from around 3 a.m. its own fleet delivers to the branches. The family business trains apprentices in the professions of baker, confectioner and specialized salesperson.
