CAE Software und Systems GmbH, based in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, develops and produces acoustic cameras, microphone arrays, intensity mapping systems and data acquisition systems for acoustic and vibration measurement technology. All hardware and software is developed and manufactured entirely in-house. The product portfolio includes the SoundCam family (SoundCam Go, SoundCam 3, SoundCam Ultra 3, Bionic arrays in various sizes), camera sensors for integrations, intensity mapping systems such as the Intensity Array and Acoustic Compass, as well as the data acquisition systems Sound & Vibration Inspector and Signal Inspector. In addition, the company develops custom test benches, test rigs and customer-specific test and inspection systems, including for quality assurance of plastic parts. The solutions are used in mechanical and plant engineering, automotive, rail, marine and aerospace engineering, construction, electronics, research, energy supply and wind power. Typical applications are sound source localization using beamforming and near-field holography, leak detection, partial discharge detection, and NVH and BSR testing. With an international partner network, the company is represented worldwide.
