About the Roastery

Café Kränzchen is a small, artisan-run coffee roastery in Stedesand on the North Sea coast in North Frisia. Owner Marion Rößler-Schäfer roasts single-origin 100% Arabica coffees from origin countries such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, Brazil, as well as alternatives such as Australia, Jamaica, Cuba and Mexico, plus her own blends and espressos. The roasting is carried out with particular care and time effort as a long-time roasting process, which distinguishes the profiles from industrially produced coffees. The green coffees are personally composed in a balanced way; the expertise is based on many years of experience, countless tastings and trips to growing regions such as Costa Rica. In addition to sales via its own online shop, the roastery supplies retailers (including EDEKA, REWE, famila), gastronomy partners and companies. Tours and tastings take place in the so-called Röstscheune (roasting barn) in Stedesand; visitor opening hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 12 to 15 o'clock as well as by appointment. The range includes whole beans, ground coffee in various grind levels, coffee pads, Decaffeinato as well as individual gift packages and personal advice.
