About CAITRON

CAITRON GmbH develops and manufactures operator and computer systems (HMI) for use in cleanrooms, particularly in the pharmaceutical and laboratory industry. The cleanroom HMIs of the CR and CS series feature screwless or hygienically screwed housings made of V4A stainless steel, offer a frameless design without joints and crevices, a completely enclosed construction to IP69 and a passive cooling system without fans. Cleanroom suitability up to GMP Class A/B has been verified by the Fraunhofer Institute. In addition to 17–24 inch multitouch displays with integrated WLAN, Bluetooth and RFID/NFC readers, the portfolio includes cleanroom-compatible glass and silicone keyboards, styluses, barcode scanner holders and configurable mounting systems (support arm, wall, ceiling, laboratory workstation, workstation). The sales and service structure comprises a headquarters in Weißensberg, a branch in Ramerberg as well as sales offices and partners in the UK/Ireland, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal.

Quality and Certification

All HMIs of the CR series as well as the associated brackets and adapters have been tested by the Fraunhofer Institute (Stuttgart) and certified up to cleanroom class GMP A/B. The housings meet protection rating IP69; individual tests for specific chemical substances are possible in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute.
