About Calenberger Backstube
The Calenberger Backstube is a family-run artisan bakery, now in its ninth generation, from the Calenberger Land region in the Hanover region. The baked goods are produced fresh daily in the company's own BrotManufaktur in Pattensen. Every loaf is shaped by hand by the bakers and traditionally hand-crafted, which the company cites as the central factor for bread quality. Many raw materials are sourced directly from regional partners, including dairy products from Hemme-Milch in the Wedemark and strawberries from Landhof Sander in Gestorf; poppy seeds and pumpkin seeds also come from the region. Numerous breads and rolls are baked without raw materials of animal origin and are vegan by tradition. The company operates an online shop, provides training and runs branches in the Hanover region.
