About Camec
Camec GmbH is a family-owned company in Solothurn that designs and manufactures mechanical precision parts and assemblies to customer specifications. Core competencies are CNC milling on 3- and 5-axis machines, CNC and conventional turning up to Ø 400 mm, as well as surface and vibratory grinding. Materials machined include plastics, steel, non-ferrous metals and light-metal alloys such as aluminium, plus brass and bronze. The range extends from prototypes and one-off pieces to small, medium and high-volume series; CAM programming is done directly from customers' CAD data using Mastercam. In addition, the company offers assembly of complete units including procurement of standard parts, laser engraving, sandblasting, and — via specialised partners — surface treatments, sheet metal working and welding. In-house proprietary products such as corkscrews, vegetable peelers and salt and pepper mills made of anodised aluminium complement the contract manufacturing. Besides the supply industry, Camec serves customers from precision mechanics, including the watch and medical sectors, as well as mechanical engineering.

Quality
All parts undergo a mandatory in-house quality assurance process: workpieces are measured with the Keyence LM-X multisensor/vision measuring machine (±0,1 µm, multi-colour laser, 3D touch probe), supplemented by coordinate measurement and hardness testing. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Swiss Safety Center, No. 21-156-059).
