About Camfil
Camfil AB is a Swedish clean air technology company headquartered in Stockholm, founded in 1963 by Gösta Larson. The group develops and produces air filters and air filtration systems for commercial and industrial applications: filter series for HVAC and ventilation technology, particulate and molecular filters, dust, oil mist and smoke separators (Air Pollution Control), as well as intake filtration and silencer systems for gas turbines, generators, industrial compressors and diesel engines (Power Systems). The offering is complemented by gas-phase/adsorption filtration (Molecular Contamination Control), since 2025 reinforced by the integration of BION. The products are used, among other applications, in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical and metal industries, in mining, nuclear power plants, hospitals and public buildings. The group operates 30 production facilities and 35 sales offices in over 35 countries with around 6000 employees; annual revenue is SEK 14.3 billion. Services include dust testing, ASHRAE 199 testing, maintenance, system upgrades and refurbishments.
