About CANOR Schallschutz
CANOR Schallschutz is a sole proprietorship founded in 2009 in Upper Franconia that manufactures and finishes acoustic materials for room acoustics and building acoustics in-house. The core product is the acoustic foam Melin®, which is converted in various thicknesses and sizes into sound absorbers for walls, ceilings, floors, window areas and free-standing applications. Production in Reundorf includes converting, industrial flocking, dyeing, die-cutting and laminating; the product range spans from acoustic pictures and the Soundbalance line to Soundkiller® PET panels, radiant cooling and heating sails for the ventilation industry, and technical nonwovens for automotive. Melin® originally comes from automotive, rail vehicle and aerospace engineering and is certified as non-combustible (A2 per DIN EN 13501-1, MPA Dresden) as well as low-emission. In addition to manufacturing, CANOR offers room surveys, acoustic measurement, consulting, installation during ongoing operations and final measurement in accordance with DIN standards. Customers include municipalities, school authorities, church and social institutions, and medium-sized companies.
