About Caora

Caora GmbH was founded in 2016 in Olten by four friends whose shared passion for Scottish single malt whisky began on a trip through Scotland around 2006. The company imports and sells whisky from selected single casks (Single Cask) that are cask strength, non chill-filtered and not coloured with caramel colouring (Non Caramel Coloured). The whisky goes straight from the cask into the bottle, untreated. In addition to importing and selling, Caora operates collection warehouses in Olten and Hägendorf, where customers can personally pick up products by appointment. The management is led by Michael Zila; the four-person team also includes Roman Bachmann (Finance), Michael Rudolf von Rohr (Logistics and Sales) and David Lang (Communications). The company operates in Switzerland and targets the whisky trade and beverage trade.
