About the CAPITO Group
The CAPITO Group, based in Neunkirchen in the southern Siegerland region, has been manufacturing at the Mühlenbergstraße site since 1900. The group is divided into three business divisions: The heating technology division develops, manufactures and sells products and systems for building services, including system-oriented buffer tank and condensing technology, solar collectors and heat pumps for the use of alternative energies. The vessel and apparatus engineering division has been manufacturing tanks and apparatuses for large-scale industry for over 70 years. The transport equipment division is the oldest member of the group and is one of the leading German manufacturers of wheelbarrows. When building individually designed heating systems, the heating technology division draws on the engineering expertise of its own plant engineering. The offering is complemented by the CAPITO subsidy service, which handles funding advice and application submission for energy-efficient construction and renovation (BAFA, KfW). The group serves the German market and sees itself as a partner of the skilled trade sector.
