About CaPlast

CaPlast Kunststoffverarbeitungs GmbH, based in Nordkirchen (Münsterland), has been active as a coating specialist since 1967 and develops and produces functional composite materials such as composites, technical membranes, hot-melt films, barrier films, tarpaulin fabrics, transport protection and base materials for medical protective clothing. The core process is extrusion coating on four lines with a maximum coating width of around 3,400 mm; on two co-extrusion lines, up to 6-layer laminates are produced in a single process step. This is complemented by laminating, converting with cutting from a useable width of approx. 2 cm, 2C printing up to 3.30 m width as well as hot-melt and adhesive tape application. Only thermoplastics such as PE, PP, TPU, PA, COPO, TPO and PVC are used as coating raw materials — free of plasticisers and solvents; substrates include textiles, nonwovens, metal and glass fibre substrates. Customers come from construction (roof, façade, floor, CIPP sewer rehabilitation), the automotive and commercial vehicle industry, medicine, mobile construction and agriculture. Since April 2023, CaPlast has been part of the Roofing & Waterproofing Division of Kingspan Group plc.
