About CAPrint
CAPrint AG is a 100% Swiss-owned manufacturer of high-speed digital printing systems for the plastics and packaging industry. Based in Brügg BE, the company develops, manufactures and supports digital printing systems for the direct printing of closures, caps, seals and flat or slightly curved plastic components – not for fully cylindrical objects. The CAPrinter systems achieve up to 2'300 parts per minute, i.e. over 3 million parts per day, and deliver photorealistic print quality, artwork changes in seconds and variable-data printing (serial numbers, batch codes, QR codes, expiry dates) with no loss of speed. Printed substrates include PP, PE, PET, aluminium and coated packaging surfaces. The systems can be integrated inline into existing production lines, support 24/7 operation with inline inspection and can be configured for GMP environments in the pharmaceutical industry. CAPrint was founded in 2020 as a spin-off of the printing division of IMD Ltd and builds on more than 10 years of experience in developing this digital printing technology; sales and service are provided worldwide through partners in Europe, North America and Asia.
