About Caravan-Wendt
Caravan-Wendt GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company from Kremmin in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, founded in 1990 by Matthias Wendt. On a site of 49.700 m², of which around 40.000 m² is exhibition space, the company sells new and used motorhomes, caravans and van conversions from 21 brands – the vehicle stock at times exceeds 500 vehicles. In addition to sales, the company offers a rental fleet of more than 80 vehicles, an accessories shop with installation service, its own special models under the name WENDTedition, as well as vehicle export and import. In the workshop area, ten technicians work in the fields of heating technology, solar technology, refrigeration and air-conditioning technology, gas pressure and leak tests as well as satellite technology; in addition, general inspections and TÜV acceptance tests for caravans are carried out. A campsite service delivers caravans to around 30 partner campsites; deliveries have already been made to twelve European countries. More than 100 employees work at the headquarters in Kremmin and at the sales location in Bandenitz.

Foundation: Matthias Wendt registers a business for the sale of caravans in Amt Grabow on 02.07.1990; start on 300 m².
- 1991
Relocation to Bundesstraße 5 on 5.000 m²; first employee, entry of Christiane-Maria Wendt.

The Hobby brand is added to the range; storage containers are set up.

Construction of a simple workshop.
