About CARBO brake

CARBO brake (SICOM Automotive GmbH) develops and delivers composite ceramic brake systems and brake kits from concept to delivery for private customers, vehicle manufacturers and tuners. The brake calipers (AXX/TXX calipers) are CNC-machined from forged blanks made of aerospace aluminum alloy or titanium. The carbon-ceramic brake rotors are produced using patented processes with a combination of 3D and 2D matrix in the core and an outer layer of carbon fiber combined with silicon carbide. For the brake pads, there is a development cooperation with PAGID, whose friction material formulations ensure an increased coefficient of friction even at low temperatures and in the rain. The company was originally rooted in motorsport (Suter Racing, Brembo, Akebono) and has been based in Frankfurt am Main since 2016; the CARBO brand was founded in 2020 and TÜV certification was obtained in 2021.
