About Carbon Components
Carbon Components GmbH & Co. KG specializes in the manufacture of custom parts and assemblies made from carbon (CFRP) and other fiber composite materials. The company machinese semi-finished products such as sheets, tubes and profiles on CNC milling machines specifically designed for CFRP machining – with diamond-coated milling tools, vacuum clamping systems and dust-free extraction. The range of services includes contours, profiles, pockets, drilled holes, countersinks and fits, double-sided and reverse-side machining as well as the milling of complex 3D shapes via a direct CAD/CAM link. In addition to machining, Carbon Components offers finishing through painting and printing as well as the assembly of finished assemblies by screwing, bonding or pinning. The company also supports customers in the design and development of carbon parts. Production is carried out in flexible lot sizes from single parts and prototypes to small series. Customer industries include aerospace, motorsport, mechanical engineering, medical technology, metrology, optics, robotics as well as drones and unmanned systems. All milling work is carried out in-house according to German industrial standards.

Materials & Processes
Carbon fiber-reinforced plastic
Main material for lightweight, stiff parts with low thermal expansion, good X-ray transparency and damping properties.
Carbon
Material for custom parts and assemblies in high-end applications such as metrology and optics.
Fiber composite materials
Additional fiber composite materials complement the material spectrum for custom applications.
CNC milling
Machining of contours, profiles, drilled holes, countersinks, fits and complex 3D shapes with machines designed for CFRP.
CAD/CAM manufacturing
Direct link for the exact implementation of drawings and 3D models.
Painting and printing
Finishing of the parts to meet the highest aesthetic demands.
Assembly
Production of assembly-ready assemblies by screwing, bonding or pinning.
