CarbonHeat GmbH develops and distributes NTHX 5.0, a full electric infrared heating system based on nanotechnology. The flat heating panel (ultra-slim, 2 mm build-up) combines a high-tech nanomaterial core made of aerospace materials, carbon fiber fabric on the top and bottom layers, and a special thermal coating; several high-pressure layers are combined into a matrix base. According to the manufacturer, the system delivers 15 W/m² in new buildings, achieves a radiation effective distance of up to 10–11 m and heats up in around 5 minutes; it is maintenance-free and can be combined with PV systems, storage and peak shaving. Fields of application include residential buildings (new build, renovation), commercial spaces (offices, practices, retail areas, hospitality) and industrial halls up to 10 m in height.
