About CarbonoVivo
CarbonoVivo is a project for generating and selling CO2 credits based on regenerative cattle ranching in Colombia. The program supports agricultural operations technically, ecologically and economically in their transition to rotational grazing (PRV), soil restoration and protection of water resources. Carbon sequestration in the soil is measured through field samples and modeling with Roth-C; operations are certified under the international standard Verra VCS and verified through independent audits. The platform app.carbonovivo.co provides monitoring, data management and portfolio reports. With more than 50 producers on around 15,000 hectares, over 235,000 tons of sequestered CO2 and the protection of 85 species, CarbonoVivo addresses cattle ranchers, investors and buyers of credits on the voluntary carbon market. The project developer is Carbono Local+, a Colombian-German company; an expansion of regenerative grazing to Peru is in preparation.
