About CarbonWacker
CarbonWacker GmbH is a family-owned company based in Hurlach (Bavaria) that has specialised in the processing of fibre-composite materials since 2006. It manufactures custom, ultra-light and durable components made of carbon (CFRP), glass fibre (GRP), aramid and complex sandwich structures. The range of processes covers hand lay-up, vacuum infusion, prepreg processing and autoclave technology. The service portfolio spans the entire value chain: from concept development and design through toolmaking to series production as well as repair and restoration of damaged fibre-composite components. The solutions are used, among other things, in aerospace, the automotive industry, boat building, the leisure sector and medical technology. The founder and managing director has been contributing experience from the aviation industry since 1990, which shapes the high standards in material selection, processing and development. In addition, the company develops its own products such as a carbon shoe horn, a GRP/CFRP bicycle trailer and an electrically powered carbon trimaran.
