About CarboSpaceTech
Carbospacetech GmbH was founded in 2014 as a subsidiary of SpaceTech and is based in Immenstaad on Lake Constance, a region with strong mechanical engineering and aerospace technology. The company manufactures structures made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP/CFK) – not only for aerospace applications, but also for lightweight construction products in other industries. The service portfolio covers the complete service workflow: consulting and design engineering, material procurement, manufacture of carbon fiber structures as well as automated CFRP layup including the insert manufacturing process. By controlling the entire process chain, CarboSpaceTech delivers a complete and certified documentation package with material inspections, procedures and production samples. Innovative processes include zero-gravity tests with a ZeroG robot and laser beam steering using the rotating wedge method.
