Founded in Heilbronn in 1863, Carl Berberich GmbH is a paper trading and converting company with two business divisions: BERBERICH PAPIER offers graphic papers, board, digital printing papers, envelopes and office papers from stock, usually delivered within 24 hours. The BERBERICH SYSTEMS division produces custom ring binders, lever arch files, design books, registers, folders and premium packaging such as boxes, hinged cases, magnetic boxes, board cases and folding cartons, among other things with 4-color offset printing, special colors, foil finishing, laminating, embossing and screen printing. Materials processed include woodfree and wood-containing papers, recycled papers, synthetic papers and board grades such as GZ, GC1/GC2, GD2, greyboard and grass board up to 700 g/qm, plus more than 100 board grades made to order. Customers come from the graphic arts industry, the packaging industry and the office supplies sector. The company employs around 350 staff at eight locations with headquarters in Heilbronn, five German branch offices, two Austrian sites of Berberich Papier GmbH, approximately 36,000 sqm of warehouse space and around 60 trucks.
