Stainless steel beekeeping equipment since 1827

Carl Fritz Imkertechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of stainless steel beekeeping equipment based in Mellrichstadt in Bavaria. Founded in 1827 as a tinsmith's shop, the family business is now run in its seventh generation; in 1873 Carl Ludwig Fritz developed the world's first metal honey extractor. The product range includes honey extractors (tangential, radial and reversible extractors), honey stirring devices, uncapping machines, uncapping and steam wax melters, honey strainers, filling containers and honey filling machines as well as beehives, frames and accessories. All CFM stainless steel equipment is manufactured entirely in the company's own production halls in Mellrichstadt – from cutting the stainless steel sheets through punching and welding to final inspection; many parts are made by hand. The raw materials (stainless steel) are sourced from European quality manufacturers. The frequency-inverter-driven extractors with SIEMENS controls carry the CE mark. Customers are hobby, part-time and professional beekeepers in Germany, Europe and worldwide via a network of dealers; sales also take place through an online shop, mail order and a retail store at the site.
