About Geringhoff
Carl Geringhoff Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG is an internationally active mechanical engineering company headquartered in Ahlen (Westphalia), run as a family business in its fifth generation. The company develops and produces combine headers for a wide variety of crops: corn headers, grain and draper cutting platforms, sunflower and millet headers. From a forge founded in 1880 and an agricultural machinery dealership, Geringhoff has evolved into a modern, international engineering company and an important employer in the region. Production takes place in Ahlen (Gersteinstraße) as well as in St. Cloud, Minnesota (USA), for the North American market; products are shipped from the logistics center in Ahlen-Guissen to Germany, Europe and the rest of the world. Geringhoff headers are also fitted as original equipment, among others, by Deutz-Fahr and John Deere. Many of today's standards in harvesting technology – from the foldable corn header to the row-independent corn head – trace back to developments by the company.
