About Carl Hirschmann
Carl Hirschmann GmbH, headquartered in Fluorn-Winzeln (Baden-Württemberg), has been developing and manufacturing high-performance spherical bearings and rod ends since 1957, rotary tables, A-axes and rotary/indexing spindles for more than 50 years, and reference and clamping systems for EDM, milling, turning and measuring machines for more than 60 years. Manufacturing is carried out with a high degree of vertical integration from a lot size of one up to large-scale series, among other things in steel, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, bronze, ceramics (Si3N4) and PTFE sliding films. For the aerospace sector, ultra-light hybrid tension/compression struts (T-IGEL®) are produced by means of resin transfer moulding in a 130-tonne press and tested on a hydraulic vibration test rig. Customers come from automotive/motorsport, aerospace, mechanical engineering, tool and mould making, medical technology, turbine construction and other industries. Products are distributed internationally via sales subsidiaries in Schaumburg (USA) and Shanghai (China); the company is certified to ISO 9001 and EN 9100.
