About Carl Jung GmbH
Carl Jung GmbH is a winery in Rüdesheim am Rhein that has specialized in non-alcoholic wines and sparkling wines for over 100 years. Dr. Carl Jung, son of a winemaking family from the Rheingau, developed the vacuum extraction process in 1907, in which the alcohol is gently removed from the wine at under 30 degrees while the natural wine aromas are captured through aroma recovery. He received a patent for this process and is regarded as the inventor of non-alcoholic wine. At Schloss Boosenburg, over 10 million bottles per year are today produced with modern production facilities in varieties such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, cuvées, rosé and sparklings. The bottles (750 ml Bordeaux bottles with BVS closure) are filled into 6-packs on Euro pallets. The family business, now in its 5th generation, supplies customers in over 30 countries.
