Carl Postertz GmbH & Co. KG is an agricultural machinery company founded in 1916 with its headquarters in Grefrath on the Lower Rhine. As an official John Deere dealer, the company sells tractors and agricultural machinery, as well as used machines, spare parts and services. In its early years, in addition to trading, the company also manufactured its own products such as cultivators and trailers; today the focus is on sales, maintenance and vehicle handover. Through its sister company Pfeifer GmbH in Wolmirstedt, the company operates as a Westfalia Separator specialized centre for milking and cooling technology. Further locations exist in Heinsberg and in Wülfrath (C.Postertz GmbH), where the former sales territory of the company Claus & Mathes was taken over in 2017. Customers come mainly from agriculture; deliveries are made within Germany.

   Founding of the company Carl Postertz; business premises initially on Mühlhauser Strasse, later at Hohe Strasse 42; own production of cultivators and trailers; sales of Deutz (KHD) tractors and Fahr agricultural machinery

2. After Carl Postertz's death, the company was led by his daughter Hildegard Schmitz and her husband Ferdinand Schmitz
