About Carl Stahl Technocables

Carl Stahl TECHNOCABLES GmbH is an internationally active development supplier of high-precision wire ropes, strands, cable solutions and Bowden cables in the fine-cable range. At its Süßen site, the company combines research and development, its own rope-making facility, assembly, a testing laboratory and administration. It manufactures wire ropes and strands with diameters from 0.075 to 8.00 mm made of high-alloy stainless steels (including AISI 316, 316L, 304, 302), galvanized steel, tungsten, Nitinol, copper and chrome-cobalt. The value chain covers cable manufacturing, surface finishing such as PTFE coating and deep cleaning, end connections via cold pressing, laser welding or micro-crimping, as well as Bowden cable systems and the electrically conductive e-rope® cables. Customers come from medical technology (endoscopy, surgical robotics, catheters), robotics and automation, mechanical engineering, aerospace and plant engineering. From a single piece to series production, Technocables accompanies projects from the initial idea to the production-ready solution. As part of the Carl Stahl Group (approx. 82 locations, approx. 1,900 employees), Technocables together with the sites Codica Câbles Transmissions (France) and Carl Stahl Sava Industries (North America) employs around 250 people.
