Carlo Gavazzi GmbH, headquartered in Darmstadt, is the German sales company of the internationally active Carlo Gavazzi Group, which develops, manufactures and markets electronic control components for the building and industrial automation markets. The product portfolio includes sensors (photoelectric, capacitive, inductive, ultrasonic), solid state relays, energy meters and analysers, IoT-based energy management systems, monitoring relays, soft starters, time relays, switching power supplies as well as safety and position switches. Production takes place at the Group plants in Italy, Mexico, Lithuania and China, which are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Typical customer groups are original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) from industries such as access control, agriculture, conveying technology, energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, food and beverage industry, HVAC, mobile work machines and semiconductor manufacturing. In addition, IIoT data management, IO-Link master modules and a complete energy management solution for measuring, storing, processing and sharing energy data in real time are offered. Sales are handled worldwide through 23 own sales companies and around 60 independent national distributors in Europe, North and South America and the Asia-Pacific region.
